Week four of a seven-week series called the seven deadly sins. Now, if you look in the appendix

of your Bible, there's not a seven deadly sin category. You're not going to find seven specific

sins in the Bible listed as seven deadly sins. And the reason is because all sins are deadly.

And in fact, even if you don't struggle with one of these particular seven sins, it doesn't mean that

you're not a sinner.

In fact, the Bible says, for we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

So you just look at your neighbor and call them a sinner.

Some of you did that with a little too much passion, didn't you?

You looked at your wife.

You said, you sinner this morning.

Okay.

I understand.

So all of us have sin, including me, especially me.

I'm probably the chief among sinners here in this room.

And all sins are deadly.

The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.

But these seven sins in particular, these seven kind of categories of sin, as the great theologian

and J.B. Football coach, Coach Bull Lee would just say, he would say, if you don't want to fall down,

don't walk in slippery places. And these are some slippery places in all of our lives. And so today's

topic or sin is gluttony. Now, gluttony, it actually is not from the word gluten. I don't even know what
