We found Deuteronomy Chapter 6 by now. We're going to be in it for the next five weeks or so studying the Shema. And before we dig in, how's your Daniel fast going? Doing good?

I did student ministry for about 15 years, and when I started working with you people, adults,

I thought the problem with adults is they quit going to camp.

And so what saturated is for us, it is a sort of a revival.

We don't like to call it revival because we don't like to tell God when he's going to revive us,

but we're praying for revival.

And so we just want to be saturated in the presence of God and the Word of God and the

gospel of Jesus Christ. And it starts on Wednesday night and it goes through Sunday. There's

information in your bulletin. I hope you will be there for that. And where are we going to be

today is we're going to be in the Shama in Deuteronomy chapter 6 beginning in verse 4. It says,

Here, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. The reason it's called

the shema is because that first word here. In Hebrew, that word is Shama. Shema, Israel, Adonai, Elohainu,

Adonai, Achad. All right, that's the Hebrew for it. And in fact, part of the reason I want

to spend some time on that, we're going to spend

an entire service just on that one verse, is this part, the Lord. You see, the word translated in
