Doesn't it feel like Christmas in here?

All right.

Hey, we're starting our Christmas series.

Do you see what I see?

And one of the things that you will not hear from me is the message about slow down and don't

do as much Christmas stuff and all of that.

Man, go to the parties and get a bunch of presents. I'm kind of right between a large, extra large, kind of

depends on the cut if that helps you out. So knock yourself out. But the idea in this series

over the next three weeks is from that song, do you see what I see, that there's no better season

than Christmas to understand this reality.

When we see as God sees, we'll do as he says.

And at Christmas, from the ground perspective, from the perspective of the shepherds and the wise men and the innkeepers and the census takers,

that it looked like everything was completely out of control.

And yet, from the perspective of the angels and from those of us post-resurrection that

understand that God was actually working a miracle in all that mess, and it was actually the

redemption of all creation and mankind.
