Well, good morning, Church of 1122. It's good to see you this morning. I hope you brought your Bibles.

We're going to be in Acts Chapter 13. This is not a message about inviting your friends, because look around.

You do a really good job of that. If you got invited here today, maybe you just misunderstood and you got here by accident. That's fine.

We're glad that you're here, too. Acts Chapter 13, we are beginning a brand new series called On the Road,

kind of in honor of Willie, turns 80 this year. If you don't know who Willie is, you need to meet

Jesus. All right, all right. Ask your neighbor. They'll tell you. So what's going to happen in the next

few chapters in Acts is that if you remember last week, Paul and Barnabas were set aside for a really like a

mission trip, but they're just going to share the gospel everywhere there go because missions

isn't about where you are, but who you are. And just in the next few chapters, I think they're

going to like 18 or 19 different stops, you know, kind of on their journey. And we're just going to,

we're going to follow along with them as they're on this journey. Because a lot like Pastor Ben said, we are all on this journey

of progressive sanctification. And some of you were just kind of checking God out. So we're so

glad you're here. And some of you've been walking with the Lord for a long, long time. And the thing

about a journey going on a road trip, it's really important is there's some things that you've got to know

you've got to know where you are and you've got to know where you're going and let's just be honest

ladies there are a lot of you when we're driving around you usually know where you are but you don't

know where you're going you're just riding around you're like I've been here before but guys don't

get too critical because you usually know where you're going, but you have no idea where you are, all right? And you're definitely not going to stop and ask.

And you say stupid things like, well, I know we're lost, but we're making great time, all right?

And so you just throttle down and go faster. And to continue to go faster in the wrong direction,

we'll not get you there sooner. And then if you have kids, you know what's most important to them. Are we there yet? Is that the dumbest question ever? I know I asked it when I was a kid,

but when my kids ask it, I just go, yeah, we've been there for an hour, but I just been circling
