I am just so excited and just so thankful for a woman named Lisa Bevere because right

now in my hand I am holding Lisa's brand new book that just came out this month without

rival and I have been so excited.

The subtitle, listen to this, embrace your identity and purpose in an age of confusion

and comparison.

Sweetheart, thank you for doing this but I want you to just expound on some of the points

of this book.

I know we would have to do about 20 of these podcasts for you to really go into the depth of

it but just start talking about it.

I'd love to hear, first of all, what do you see this book doing in the life of women and

men as they read this book?

Well, you know, first and foremost, rivalry is robbing the body of Christ.

It's robbing us of our uniqueness, it's robbing us of our purpose.

Everybody is looking at everybody else comparing themselves, contrasting themselves, measuring

themselves and you know, saying, oh, you've got more followers than me, you know, whatever,

you know, or copying and yet and yet even though there's so many people out there you can

look and observe and learn from, there has never been a more glaring lack of revelation

of what you're called to do.

So many young girls I talk to, they say, I just have absolutely no idea what I'm called

to do.

I can't figure it out.
