Hey, Mark, it's exciting.

It's the first jobs report of the year.

Yeah, it's exciting.

I mean, not the first one.

It's the first month that we have data.

So the January jobs report will come out at 8.30 Eastern time. And here's what's expected.

We are going to see continued deceleration of job growth, which is a fancy way of saying we're not

creating as many jobs. I think the number is probably going to be somewhere around 150 to

175,000 new jobs created.

The unemployment rate is going to stick around this range 3.5, 3.6.

Maybe it'll go to 3.7.

It's been in such a narrow range for so long mark.

It's hard to, I don't know, like how we've got to get more people back in that labor force.

So that's coming out today.

And if there's something really weird with it,

I will come back on the air tomorrow morning. I'll give you a little synopsis of what I think is

important. But, you know, generally speaking, we know growth is slowing down in the United States.

We saw it throughout the year last year in terms of job growth, but we also saw in December a real

pullback on spending by consumers. And I think that's continuing this year. So Mark, you remember

way back when you said, I think we're going to be able to do a soft landing? Yeah, I'm still hopeful.
