being here. Now today we are moving into Proverbs chapter 6 and if you remember the book

of Proverbs is a wisdom book. It's a book full of exhortations and teachings that will

help us to develop wisdom in our lives and I recommend that you read a chapter of Proverbs

every day as part of your daily devotion. It's very convenient. There are 31 chapters and

so if you read a chapter every day you will essentially read the book of Proverbs once

every month and they're simple to understand in most cases and very very practical as we're

going to see today. The section we begin today is going to give us some insight and wisdom

about the issue of debt, financial debt. Did you know the Bible could be so practical?

Let's read it and see what it has to say for us. He says, my son, if you have put up security

for your neighbor, have given your pledge for a stranger. If you are snared in the words

of your mouth, caught in the words of your mouth, then do this, my son, and save yourself
