This week we are looking at the roots of our country's polarization.

Look at its no secret this country is deeply polarized.

Just take a look at Washington and take a look at it by the numbers.

For current Senate, dead even, 50, 50 split, the House is nearly dead even, to 20 to

And the 2020 election, exactly 25 states gave their electoral votes to Joe Biden and the

And those divides are becoming pretty baked in.

It is pretty remarkable.

And it is created in an environment in which so much now is seen as a partisan attack.

Working with the other side on any issue is viewed as betraying your team and giving

And when the rule of law is upheld against a former president, there suddenly talk of civil

war by right wing extremists online.

So we're in quite a moment here as a nation and there is perhaps no better example of our

national divisions than the state of Wisconsin.

The state's unique political, geographical, and cultural dynamics have made it ground zero

for our nation's polarization.

Wisconsin's actually been dealing with these bitter divides for over a decade.
