Hey, what's going on everyone? Welcome back to the show. Today we're going to be talking about

Wasps and specifically we're talking about wasps.

So if your garden or your home has been infested by wasps, I know, you know, I've had some

troubles here with them in California well into the fall. I grew up here in California, so wasps

have been just a part of my life. I remember my brother and I would run around

our cul-de-sac growing up trying to bait each other into corners where we knew wasps were so that one of us would get stung and it was the most

ridiculous game ever but you know you live and you learn because I think we both

took our took our licks there he actually was allergic though I was not allergic. It just was annoying to me, but to him, he ever got baited into the wasp trap. He wasn't crazy allergic, but he would definitely swell up and then he would be really sad. So we stop that game.

Needless to say, let's go back to the episode.

We're talking about wasp traps today.

How do you get rid of them?

Do you need them?

What are the best ones, right?

So if you're only seeing a few wasps and they don't really

seem to be preparing to move in build themselves nests you don't really need to worry about it wasps or pollinators

they're happy to go from flower to flower and assist your

local bee population. So I'm not trying to say destroy all wasps. This is part of

the natural ecosystem, right? However, while a few are great, too many can become a bit burdensome.

So while most species of wasps don't typically bother humans, they can become defensive

especially if they start to build their home.

So if they build their home in an area where you do a lot of work,

then yeah, it might be time to consider removing them.
