The Oh, Hello friends and welcome to the Sparkle Stories podcast this This is Lisbon of Sparkle Stories.

And as I am recording this, there is a winter storm,

just a raging outside.

And so I'm inspired.

I am picking a story called Winter Wonder.

I'm up here in Vermont.

And you know, when sometimes when the weather is really messy,

really, really, really cold, really, really wet, really windy.

We don't want to go outside, you want to stay inside,

you want to snuggle up.

But what I think we find when we're inside too much

is we get kind of out of sorts, we get kind of wheelie and cranky and I kind of think we humans need at least a little bit of outside time every day if not a lot and when my were little, we were a part of a school

and a friend community where we believed that really

the only issue was the right clothing.

There was no weather too harsh.

We just had to get everybody in the right clothing or the right winter gear and we'd be fine.

And there's some truth to that.

So this week we are talking all about getting outside.

Of course where you are in the world it may not be winter it may be summer. But I think we should all just get outside unless the weather is completely dangerous. We should get on out. So I'm picking stories all week over it sparkle stories that are about that and this

Podcast story is perfect it is winter wonder from Martin and Sylvia Nature School in which some of the kids in Nature

School are starting to feel kind of sick of winter.

But Martin, oh Martin, shows them all the ways to appreciate the gifts of this wintry time of year.
