The Oh, Hi friends and welcome to the Sparkle Stories podcast this is Elizabeth of Sparkle Stories and for this week this second week of January

I am going to slow us down we have all come off probably a very busy holiday season and end of year.

And I think one of the wisest things to do in January is to slow down if not completely stop and take some rest time, take some easy time, have

some days where you have no plans at all and you just get to bump around.

And so I am pulling forward a collection that's called Day of Rest.

It's a Martin and Sylvia collection, you know we all love love Martin and Sylvia and this one's called day of rest and it's one story per month.

So there's a story for January and a story for February plus a little introduction.

And what happens in this entire collection

is Martin and Sylvia's family starts to build

one day a week where they just rest and play as a family. It's called a day of rest. Some people

call it a Sabbath. But I can say from experience it's a beautiful thing to create. So I'm hoping that we can inspire you and re-inspire ourselves to create a little day each week, even if it's just half a day, where nobody's trying to do anything big and nobody's working, and everyone gets to rest and play and enjoy each other's company.
