If you're looking to kind of spice up your selection of plants this year, I would recommend

Vegetion for a lot of cool

sort of substitutions for I guess you might say the more classic garden plants not

necessarily the boring ones but just like the ones that we always grow you can kind of

mix it up a little bit so

nicky thanks for coming on there's a method that you use a lot and we teased it a little

bit earlier in the week called winter sewing

uh... and i know you've covered it before but I thought maybe we could give a quick

update on on how you're doing that this year. Yeah totally and you know Kevin this is

also sort of like a garden cover because you know winter sewing isn't about me

starting plants indoors under grow lights in winter.

This is about skipping the grow lights, skipping the heat mats, skipping all the hassle of having

to remember to turn those lights on and off and water my plants. And this is like using little covers, which in this case,

they could be those plastic salad containers.

You buy greens in or water jugs or one gallon milk jugs
