Welcome back everyone to the Epic Gardening Podcast. This will be a fun

episode for you because we're gonna be riffing both Nicky Jubur and I on what

we're growing or what we want to grow in 2021 and you know my situation has changed a lot

Nicky obviously with with going from the small front yard garden to this sort of

massive at least to me I know a third of an acre isn't very big

for some people but for me it's it's absolutely massive and you know that that unlocks

so to speak all sorts of different crops that just weren't an option before and

I'm curious you know you've

got that book veggie garden remix you you obviously have mixed it up a lot in your

garden is there anything that that you think should be on our list for this year?

Oh my gosh, I've been watching your garden, like just so inspired,

so many exciting types of plants you're growing,

and so many different types of techniques you're using,

so it's

really exciting and fun to watch. I just think you should start obviously you have a

lot of experience with growing food plants and things so I think you should

not only grow the ones you already love but yeah add some new things this year for me I am

obsessed with cucumber melons I know most people would know them as Armenian cucumbers and

that's usually what you see them listed in seed you know catalogs but the truth is like any type of

vegetable there are so many different varieties you know a lot that hail from

you know parts of Asia a lot that hail from the Middle, and I've been trying to collect as many different varieties as I can and grow those in my garden.

So I'm obsessed with cucumber melons.
