A very dear friend of mine in long time, both personal and business associate,

Brian Stevens, runs a daily blog for the real estate industry called the National Real Estate

Post. And the other day, he did a recording with David Stevens, no relation.

They just happened to have the same last name.

But if you're not sure, I think most everybody knows who David Stevens is.

He ran MBA and FHA and now is a private consultant for large companies.

And so anyway, these two cats really know where the gas goes when it comes time to mortgage lending.

And they did a great interview the other day. And I asked Brian if I could snag that interview and

send it out here as a podcast. And Brian being the cool guy that he is said absolutely this is really interesting stuff

and so just kind of to tell you what you're getting ready to listen to very candid and just

a very candid conversation where they're going to talk about um what rates are where they're going

which uh i'll let them talk about that, but how in the end, this can actually

be a really cool thing that refinancing opportunities is going to just absolutely, you know,

they think, and I agree with them, is going to be an absolute windfall for us sometime into the

next year. And those loan officers that do the right activity now

and continue to grow their business are in for an absolute boom. And not everybody's going to make it,

right? Not everybody's going to make it. That's the harsh truth to it. Those that are sitting there waiting

for the phone ring, it's going to be a very, very, very long winter. And those that take action and activity, man, we got a really, really, really good,

very interesting time coming. The other thing they talk about the end of this interview is they

talk about the longevity of loan officer as a career. And I thought that was very interesting,

too, a very positive outlook.

They do a little comparison about Uber and at some point, and we all know that, so that this is
