I'm Pete, joined by Darius, no mic, today. And last night, the Lakers fell to C.J. Elaby and the Mighty Blazers in a really lackluster performance where I think a lot of things

are coming to a head for this team. And one of those things, the biggest thing as we record,

we were recording in the morning before the trade deadline. In yesterday's pod, we started out

with the idea of like frustration starting to boil over. And to me, to me,

this is something that like fixing that, none of the other stuff matters. And I thought last

night was an example of we're playing basically a G-League, like NERCITCH, Simons, and a G-League squad,

basically. And the spirit and the effort and the level of

cohesion and organization is all bad. And basketball is such a connected sport in terms of

five players being on a string or being aware of what everyone else is doing and really, you know,

giving their all in a focused

and attentive manner. And when a team starts to break apart, that is the first thing to go. And what

happens is you're in play to get beat by anybody when a team really starts to crack, regardless of the talent that you have.

And I think that in some ways last night was a healthy thing for us to see without Russ playing

with LeBron and AD, without huge injuries across the roster. We had a couple guys that missed,

but we have LeBron and AD, and we're struggling to hang with this Pacers squad
