I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And last night, in a matchup between the two most recent NBA champions, the Lakers fell to the bucks in a game where they were outclassed across the board.

And now, usually on this pod, we talk about the specifics of how the game went and the lineups and the schemes and all of the details that we love.

But I'd like to start this one discussing a dynamic that's been kind of the monster in the

background, I think, for this season, that we're really seeing come to the surface where I think last night

it all kind of came to a head.

One thing that I've observed over the years is that basketball teams can only experience

a certain degree of cumulative frustration throughout a season before they start to fracture.

And that frustration D can come from all sorts of

different angles. We didn't play well. We're injured. This is one thing, one of the reasons I knew that when

AD went down last year, we wouldn't be able to kind of like bring anything back is the postgame

interviews by the end of last season started to be more and more like, man, it's been one thing after another

this season. Like, we just need to get healthy. We need to catch a break. We need to that.

And so that's something that adds to your frustration, even though it's no faults of your own.

You can all be working together and a really cohesive team and all of that. But several
