| 1:28.0 | All right guys, I am here with my good friend David Phillips, the CEO and founder of Fondo. How's it going David? |
| 1:36.0 | Good Steve, great to be here with you. Thanks for having me. |
| 1:40.0 | For sure, for sure. So David and I go way back. He was actually the first investor that we had for my previous startup. |
| 1:50.0 | And he has been doing a lot of really exciting things over the past few years. |
| 1:55.0 | And this is like our first time to actually catch up, which is exciting that we're able to do this with such a great audience. |
| 2:01.0 | So David, let's get the origin story first. So everybody knows your background and what led you to initially start hack bright back in the day. |
| 2:12.0 | Yeah, so we started hack bright back in 2012, the beginning of like the boot camp era. |
| 2:20.0 | And, you know, before that, I had been a, you know, sort of non technical co founder, been, you know, doing different startups and different projects and always wanted to learn how to code. |

| 2:39.0 | where it was like teaching me how to code. I was learning like front end development, starting to help contribute. |
| 2:45.0 | We started doing some consulting because we ran out of, you know, good ideas. And we needed to make some money. |
