Today we have Mayor Bill de Blasio, the Mayor of New York City.

And then the news, as you know, with me, Brittany, Sam and Clint.

And the word I offer before we get into this episode is a variation of start where you are.

So I've said this before, but I'd encourage all of you to get one or two or three people

who are your friends who think about the world similarly.

And start to have like a kitchen cabinet to process what's going on and to think about solutions.

The best organizers always start small.

The Harry Tubman didn't call me and tell me that I needed to organize.

The Harry Tubman didn't read 15,000 books.

She started where she was and she got a couple people to believe in a vision and a dream

and she made it happen.

And when people ask me how can they get started, I'm reminded that I got started with one phone call

to one of my best friends and then one more person and one more person.

And that's how it started.

That's how it always starts.

So find your people and build your tribe.
