Just to give people a view on like where this has come from, why Erich Weinstein?

And yeah, why I wrote this thread in the first place which has led to this conversation

so essentially it was back in April 2020 I just watched his episode on Joe Rogan it was early

lockdown so it was about I think March was kind of where government

action on the coronavirus got kind of real. And I remember at the time, Eric Weinstein

being somebody who was speaking with great clarity and what was happening at the time. And I think that's been true for a few years, to be fair. So what was happening at the time and i think that's been

true for a few years to be fair so i was listening to a lot of his content i watched his episode on

joe rogan and he brings up certain problems um that we observe in our society and traces their roots back to the early 1970s.

Now as a Bitcoin, and when I hear that, my ears prick up naturally, for reasons I'm sure we'll discuss later.

And I'm expecting him at any moment to bring up Bitcoin, or to bring up the money at least,

in the beginnings of the Fiat money era.

But he doesn't, he takes it another way.

And essentially, so naturally when we examine certain problems, observe certain problems,

we tried to trace their roots back to a fundamental cause.

And essentially, from my perspective, he stops shore.

He attributes the problems we see in society to the early 1970s,

with the specific cause being a pause in innovation and discovery within

theoretical physics, which from his perspective, kind of powers the whole economy.

As a Bitcoin, I have a different perspective on that. So I was kind of moved to write this thread,

inspired by the episode as well as I guess boredom from being in lockdown for a month. Imagine that. And essentially, after I wrote the thread, it got a lot of attention on Bitcoin
