Summary

What if you could train your body to stay calm under pressure the same way Navy SEALs do? In this conversation with Level 3 Wim Hof Method instructor Brandon Powell, we explore the three-pillar system of breath work, cold exposure, and mindset training that elite athletes and military operators use to control their stress response and perform when it matters most.

You'll discover how cold exposure triggers a 500% dopamine boost, why five breaths can shift you from panic to calm, and the science-backed protocols you can start today with nothing more than a cold shower and your breath. This is about building resilience from the inside out—training your nervous system to become your competitive advantage rather than your limitation.

And then we're just going to get into this, what I think is going to be a fun conversation. autonomic, nervous system and become happy, healthy, and strong. Does that all sound roughly correct? That was great. Cool. We got to you. I'm going to give Mark a shout out. We got to you through Mark England. Our friend has been on the show a number of times, founder of Enlisted. I believe the first time he told me about you, he told me he was talking to me about how the two of

1:45.4

you used to get detention together. Is that roughly correct? Well, Mark and I were, we were in a

1:51.5

class together in sixth grade. It was like our elementary school didn't believe in us.

1:57.7

They didn't think we were going to adjust well to sixth grade. So they let us

have our own little area in the school where it was we only had four teachers as opposed to six.

2:09.7

They minimized it. And anyway, long story short, we were together a lot that year and we became

2:15.5

good friends. And then from from there we just developed this relationship

2:20.3

and I can tell you more about the story but what's really interesting is that Mark and I knew each

other all through middle school six through seventh and eighth grade and then I moved away and I

2:30.9

moved to a town in South Carolina and obviously I went to high school there
