He has debated many of the world's leading secular thinkers was once described by Sam Harris, no less as the one Christian apologist who seems to have put the fear of God into many of my fellow atheists.

Now, Bill, you were last on the unbelievable show in conversation with theologian Greg Boyd, weren't you debating?

Yes, I remember that well.

Yes, it's been a very popular video and podcast. What are your thoughts sort of as you reflect back to that last last time we had you on the show?

Well, I thought it was a very ironic and profitable discussion of two quite different views of the atonement of Christ.

And I frankly felt that I did a credible job of defending a classic reformation view of the atonement.

And that in many cases, I think Greg hadn't really explored the alternative as thoroughly as one my desire.

So I hope it will be a stimulus to him to look further into it.
