A few weeks ago we launched an extra midweek podcast, so every week as well as the normal

episode of Unbelievable, we will be introducing you to a programme from the archives.

The episode you're about to hear was first broadcast on Premiere Christian Radio on 29th

November 2008 and it features two Christian scientists discussing Creation and Evolution.

I would love to introduce you to my guests now. We're having a fascinating discussion

this afternoon on Creation and Evolution. The book, Creation or Evolution do we have

to choose was recently published by Monarch and it's author Dennis Alexander is with me.

Dennis is the director of the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion at St Edmunds College

in Cambridge where he's a fellow and he spent much of his life in the field of immunology.

He is passionate about theistic evolution and showing Christians why they need fear no kind

of contradiction between belief in evolution and Christian theology. So thank you very much,

Dennis, for being with us. And our other guest today is Stephen Lloyd. Now as I said earlier, both

are guests today Christians. So we're veering away from the normal formats slightly today of a

Christian and an non-Christian because I think it's worth giving a good airing to this particular

subject because it is such a big one these days in terms of Christians who are asking questions

about what we need to believe, what we should believe about evolution and creation. So Stephen

Lloyd here also a Christian, he's a pastor in London with a background in scientific research.

He was undergraduate and postgraduate research at Cambridge University. And now a pastor of hope

church engraves and in Kent. So thank you very much Stephen for being with us today.
