It's go time for Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

Will she get confirmed?

Will the Democrats be able to get one or two or three more Republican senators to say,

you know, we're not so sure.

You'll hear my predictions on the D Judiciary Committee has begun hearings on the possible confirmation of President Trump's nomination of Judge Barrett

to serve on the United States Supreme Court and take the seat that was

previously held by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I watched the beginning, the opening statements, and there were very few surprises.

The Democrats began with Senator Feinstein, who may be the very reason why Judge Barrett was

nominated. She badly mishandled Judge Barrett's nomination to the Seventh Circuit three years ago when she looked her in the eye and

basically accused her of being too religious. She said that the dogma lives

loudly within you and that is of concern. No, no, no, that's not of

concern under the Constitution of the United States which prohibits any

religious test from being imposed on anybody serving or seeking to serve

in any office under the United States.

So it's out of bounds constitutionally to attack someone's religion as dogma or to express concern

about a person's religion per se and as the result of that statement being issued by Senator Feinstein when she was the ranking

a member of the Judiciary Committee, Judge Barrett leaped to the top of the list to be nominated for the Supreme Court.

They made t-shirts out of Feinstein's statement,
