So James, you've written about the Merrill elections this week in the Spectator magazine.

And the reason for that is being the run up to another Merrill elections

Yeah, so first thing to say is that the stories have a really big uphill battle in this election.

It was a poll like in late April which showed that Labour were 40 points ahead in London.

So you've got three candidates now who aren't particular big names.

That was a hope on some of the Conservatives in the CCHQ

was that they could find some candidate with Stardust.

So there were brief things around Karen Brady and Judge Rob Reinder,

But now we've ended up with these three.

There's Trio. There's Susan Hall who was formerly the leader of the Greater London Assembly

Group for the Conservatives. There's Daniel Korski who's a David Cameron Special Advisor.

And then there's also Miss Amal Hussein who is very much the complete wild card in this race.
