I probably don't have to tell you that that is not M&M, though M&M did this week send

this person a cease and desist letter for trying to sing his song. That is Vivek Ramaswami,

who at the Iowa State Fair did his best. I'm young and hip and running for president

thing. We have Moa Lathe here. As always, Mo, next time you and I go sing karaoke, I'm

not inviting him. That's probably wise. Yeah, I don't think we should.

We are missing Sarah Isger this week. She's away for a few weeks, but I want to welcome

Alice Stewart. She's a CNN political commentator, veteran advisor to many Republican campaigns,

including Ted Cruz's presidential run. Alice, thanks for being here. David, it's so great

to join you and Moa talk about the news of the day. If I can weigh in quickly on the Vivek

music, please, I understand there are copyright issues and that may offend the original

creator of that, but I have to say any candidate that can get out there on the campaign trail,

but the rigors and the schedule of it and have a good time. I've been on four presidential

campaigns and my candidates would go bowling. They would play the guitar. They would go walking

around the lake in Des Moines, Iowa, anything to let off a little steam. So I have to say,

you know, like the music quality or not, I give it to Vivek for having a good time while

he's out on the trail. Hey, for effort. Is that the kind of thing we're

seeing here? Exactly. My gut on this one was this was both cringe and maybe actually

authentic. Like you don't have that tickly cringe. Well, you don't know that song unless

you've done it before with friends. Like I'm convinced that Vivek Ramaswamy might be an M&M

fan and he's like done that before out karaoke bar with friends, but he didn't do it well,
