as always. Sarah Isger is still away, but we have Alice Stewart back. She has advised

many Republican campaigns is now a CNN political commentator. And you know, I want to say to

both of you, I've been having this feeling for the last week or two that I'm really somehow

enjoying this part of the presidential campaign season. I can't believe I'm saying that

because of our kind of toxic political culture. But there's something I've been getting

asked by people in my family, by friends, saying things like, gosh, you know, I don't really

like President Biden. I don't really like President Trump. I've heard about this Nikki

Haley. I've heard about this Vivek guy. Like, can you tell me more about them and their

ideas? And it's just been this wonderful sort of moment to step back and realize a lot

of people are just getting started and becoming curious. And that's my hopeful note to start

today. Are you both having conversations like that? Absolutely. Look, you know, we're all

inside baseball and we talk about politics all the time. And for many of us, you know, it's

part of our livelihood. But most of Americans, you go across fly over country or you go to

Middle America and they've been worried about or focused more on, you know, summertime and

having a good time with their children and their family and then getting their kids off to school

and having a fun Labor Day. And this is now, now in terms of the world of politics, it's game

on. And, you know, the candidates are blanketing the campaign trail and getting their message out

there. And certainly the first debate was a great opportunity to see and hear and have an

introduction with these candidates. So I'm as someone who's a political geek here. I love the fact

that people are, people are starting to ask questions and look at the candidates and they're

kicking the tires and they're talking to the, you know, their friends and neighbors. And, you know,
