The Trump federal charges can should and must hand should and must go to trial fast under the applicable law.

Michael, what are we going to litigate? Who won the 2020 election? That's been decided over and over again. The case should go fast.

I mean, the prosecutors, of course, argued exactly what you're saying, that the extraordinary and historic nature of the charges regarding a historic attempt to derail U.S. democracy certainly weighed in favor of moving quickly.

I don't understand how Trump's lawyers are attempting to argue that the speedy trial act should not apply to Donald Trump because why?

He's busy playing golf because he's busy running from state to state, trying to gin up more support or money for his campaign.
