So, two pieces of news in Trump World 1, Marik Arlin announced on Friday the Attorney General

that he was appointing a special prosecutor to make the final determination, along with

him he has to make the decision really.

But unwhether to charge Donald Trump in two separate matters, one is whatever his role

in January 6th might have been that might have a criminal element to it and the other

is the mishandling of classified information in the retention of documents at Mar-a-Lago.

So those are the two cases and he appointed this prosecutor Jack Smith who apparently

made his reputation not really as an American prosecutor but as a prosecutor at the Hague

going after war criminals which is an interesting look for Marik Arlin to have chosen.

But probably this is the only person he could find in his world of acceptable people who

hasn't tweeted something at some point insulting to Trump and that obviously was a necessary

adjunct to whoever he might pick.
