Summary

Those who have gone after Trump in court, among other places, are now voicing concern that if Trump gets elected, there will be retaliation. In times past, you would have heard plenty of people on the right condemning such action as a principled and a slippery slope…but what happens when the slippery slope is already here? Today we will discuss what right-wing retaliation might look like if Trump gets elected.

Is retaliation coming? That's right, because according to an article here at CBS News,

0:06.7

Democrats who investigated Trump say they expect to face arrest and retaliation if he wins

0:11.9

the presidency. Now, once upon a time, a lot of us would have looked at this and been like,

0:15.5

okay, whatever. It's hyperbolic political rhetoric. But right now, a lot of people are saying,

0:23.1

yeah, you will and you should,

0:28.9

because after all, what you're afraid of is the very thing that you're actually doing to Donald Trump. And see, a lot of people on the right, like myself, have always warned against this

0:35.2

kind of retaliation. But the bottom line is, we're losing the argument.

0:39.6

And we're not losing the argument because we've failed to make the appropriate one to the right.

0:44.0

I would argue that we're losing it because the left keeps engaging in the sort of activities

0:48.5

they currently are. And it's not just people on the right saying so. So today on making the

0:53.9

argument, we're going to go through some of the predictions of

0:57.2

what could actually happen.

0:58.5

How did it used to be?

1:00.3

What's the new dynamic that we're experiencing?

1:03.0

And what might it look like if Donald Trump wins the presidency?

1:07.3

All of that and more coming up on this episode of making the argument.

But before we get

into it, I would encourage you all to go on to the show notes. Check out our community page and

able to regularly engage with our community. In fact, a lot of the episodes that we do on making

the argument were inspired by our members coming forward and asking us to address certain questions and topics.
