I'm Cindy Yu and I'm joined by James Forsy.

So the Prime Minister has announced something of what the summer might look like, Katie, in terms of mass events.

Yeah, so we had the prospect raised in Monday's press conference of how you get society back to something resembling normal.

Something resembling normal means various different things depending on who you speak to,

particularly Tory MPs. But what Boris Johnson was talking about is on the subject of vaccine

passports, something the government has kept saying they're not going to do, but ultimately

some of the comments suggest that we are going to have some type of immunity required to enter places or at least our COVID status.

Boris Johnson said that rapid tests were the way that they would try and open up some of the

toughest nuts to crack so far, citing nightclubs and theatres. And obviously that chimes in, I think,

of any business which requires lots of people

to be in the same room or space. The idea being that you could have a quick lateral flow test

on the morning or that day. And if you were negative, you could therefore enter, you could perhaps

go and see a show or you can maybe even dance with a few people. I think what's interesting

are a few things in that as an idea.

Firstly, I think that as soon as you have lateral flow tests as a way to get into places,

you're accepting that your COVID status matters, chutea part. Now, you can say the fact we're

face masks, you know, we're already on that scale, but I think that there are some Tory MPs at

least who thought the vaccination program was a way to almost get rid of all of this stuff.
