In 2016, Green Party candidate Jill Stein garnered 1,457,216 votes, including 51,000 in Michigan,

49,000 in Pennsylvania, and 22,000 in Wisconsin, more than Donald Trump's margin of victory in

all three key battleground states. That led to a lot of post-election grousing among mainstream

Democrats that progressives in their insistence on political purity basically caused Hillary Clinton

the election and handed the White House to arguably the most anti-progressive candidate in decades.

But what about this year? How many progressives will still vote Green in next week's election

or sit this race out because they're not sold on Joe Biden? We'll discuss with two thoughtful

progressives, Beyond a Grey, the former press secretary to Bernie Sanders and Ryan Grimm of the

Intercept, and we'll get caught up on the latest numbers from the Yahoo News, you gov poll with

our National Political correspondent, Andrew Romano, on this episode of Skull Duggery.
