I'm looking for herons, the bird, H-E-R-O-N.

I'm looking for herons as I walk today for a particular listener who, while listening to a recent episode, heard me describe the herons.

As she was experiencing something different. Hi, I'm Dave. Welcome to

All right, I've got the lake right in front of me. This is the lake where I saw the herons,

or at least the one heron that I described in a recent episode, that a listener mentioned in a comment to me and what she was

experiencing as she was listening to me describe this beautiful Lake Vista what

she was experiencing was with something a little different I see some

ducks across the lake. No herons. All right, so here's the

message from a listener. I got this this week. I don't know her name and I save this for today for

a particular reason. She writes, I'm a flight attendant and she says she's 63 years old. Today on day seven of my

walking challenge, I have to work, and I have a long day on planes and in airports. So I arrived a little

early to the airport, crossed my seven-day finish line with a walk through the chaos of the

Vegas airport. I skipped the train and the moving sidewalks and cruised at a brisk pace through the terminal.

You're talking about herons, gliding over a pond, and I'm dodging early morning travelers.

Probably some still drunk from last night and questioning their life choices.

I've been in a bunch of airports. This is me now, not the listener, I've been in a bunch of airports.

The Vegas airport is probably one of my least favorite. It does feel pretty chaotic. And the last time, even I were in the Vegas

airport, our flight kept getting delayed. They kept giving our plane to other passengers.

And instead of arriving home that night, we finally got a flight out of Vegas much later than anticipated, spent the night in Nashville, and then spent almost the entire day in Nashville before there's a heron.
