Today we are going to be talking about some news

and not just in House of Dragon,

but some big Hollywood news that could affect House of the Dragon and that's the writer strike.

Yeah, you know, Jimmy, it just seems like every week we try to, we're man, we're like getting it back, the reread, right?

Like, okay, we're getting it going going but then something comes along and it's just too big right we got we got to talk about it and that is as you said the writer strike

It happened and you know, there's a lot of reasons for it. I've been looking at the two

main arguments that at least from what I've read in the news is AI, which is kind of the big one, and streaming.

I guess, you know, streaming royalties is another big thing, and I obviously track the stock market everything and

Paramount stock market started tanking today big time big time and that's going to be

the case with a lot of streaming companies.

You know, Netflix, a couple of months back,

they had a terrible quarter that literally derailed

the entire streaming market, right?

Like Disney, everybody's stock started

tanking because of Netflix I was like the first time they'd ever

posted that their subscriber growth was coming down so all these companies are

always trying to find more ways to make more money. Part of that might be, hey, we're going to explore using AI and, you know, royalty differences. You know, we see if you go back and you look during the pandemic, there was a, you know, issue with movies going direct to streaming.

I remember this. Yeah, it was great as as a consumer it was great but if I remember I believe I know

Scarlet Johanson and I want to say what's her name God, who's the actress who's in Krewella? Why am I blanking on her name? She was in Spider-Man.
