Yeah, you know back with Davos here Jimmy and you know last time he saw him he was washed up on that

shore praying a lot of gods and this time now it's kind of like a totally different chapter to be honest

because now we're meeting Salazar saying and getting a little more of like what's

going on in Esos and kind of Davos is beginning to game plan about what his

next sort of actions are going to be and this is really

almost more of a Stannis Melasandra chapter because it's Davos's ideas of hey this is what I'm probably the route I'm the path I'm going to have to take

forward and we also get to meet some other people you know like Edric Storm you

know shows up in this chapter so some this is sort of like a Georgia's creating pillars that are going to or you know as he likes to call it plants.

Yeah he's building out the relationship between Saladorsan and Stannis, or D

D Davos, which is really cool.

It makes us have a better idea of who Davos is and why people respect him,

which, you know, we have a lot of backstory at this point, but I still think that it's like these little intimate moments where he's still feeding us information that we kind of build an attachment to the character and they feel real intangible.

So these kind of conversations are really well done.

Yeah, absolutely. So before we dive into that, we do have a little more news here about the

Writer Strike. So we did an episode about that last week, but we'll dive into it here again,

just because we did actually get an update from George Martin himself talking about it. So I'll read this here and I'll sort of paraphrase and skim through some of it. So he just says the writer strike is on you know no one wanted this no writer with any ounce of sense anyway but the producers and the studios and the networks and the streamers gave us no choice gave us he says right now where he is sort of a showrunner
