I think there's several relationship milestones one has and I think one of those is meeting the parents or the family for the first time right?

I would say so.

I think that's kind of a big deal and takes the relationship to like the next level.

Well, Mercio listener Jill is meeting her boyfriend's family for the first time

over the 4th of July holiday, which should be like, you know, pretty exciting, probably a little

nervous, but she's which should be like you know pretty exciting probably a little nervous but

she's very hesitant and there's a lot of tension because she's 18 years older

than her boyfriend and her boyfriend's like mom is not going to take this one.

So yeah, you're a you're a little nervous and hesitant going into this whole meeting of the parents thing, huh?

Yeah, I really am. I'm traveling with my boyfriend over the 4th of July weekend and I'm going to meet his mom, his sisters, and some extended family.

And we've been dating for nine months, you know, we're really in love, so you might wonder what's the problem. But like you said, I am 18 years older than he is, and we both know that his family especially his mom is going to have some issue

with that and I'm 46 and he's 28 but he's about to be 29 next. Oh okay that makes it better.

That helps a little bit. Yeah. What I'm just I you know and I listen this is I don't want you to take this as any

judgment whatsoever I'm just curious like what is it about this 28 year old man that

you feel more of a connection with rather than somebody that says

rather than somebody who's say a little closer to your age.

It's just all about the person. I mean, I think he's much for his age.
