All right, today, I'm going to tease this a little bit.

Today, we're recording again live at NRB, and in this episode, we're going to talk about something

that's incredibly important that actually is sometimes barely even touched on in theology books.

All right, so Jeff, it's funny.

We didn't really plan this, but maybe God has a purpose for it.

I say maybe in quotes, because I'm sure he does.

But it seems like this season, as we're talking through things,

the theme has kind of been on heaven and the millennial kingdom and what our future is going to be like in terms of like really what it's going to be like for us. Recently, I've been doing a little

bit of study on heaven itself. And what's fascinating is I've read a couple of

commentaries that talk about how even in seminary many of the systematic theology

books very briefly talk about heaven so here you got this and it's not that

there's not a lot of information in scripture about it I think some people are

scared to touch it because it's so beyond us and it's,

you know, we're almost not supposed to know. There's supposed to be some mystery, which, of course,

that's the truth. But there's a surprising amount of content in scripture that talks about heaven.

So that's kind of what we're going to talk about today, what it's going to be like to live in the eternal state.

Amen. I'm looking forward to this. I once heard a pastor, Todd, talk about heaven, and he said, listen, people say, what is heaven going to be like?

And his response was, well, God loves you, and if it's important to you, it's going to be in heaven.

And I thought myself, are you kidding me?

It's like, there's lots of things that are important to people on the earth that I'm sure is not going to be in heaven.

And the idea is that, you know, it's like, basically we create heaven is basically what he was saying.

It's like, oh, if you want it, you want a theme park?
