Emirates to allow customers to make payments with crypto and polymarket caught up in another

controversy.

Airline giant Emirates has signed a preliminary deal with Crypto.com, allowing its customers to make payments through the crypto trading platform's service. Set to launch next year, this partnership aims to attract, quote, younger tech-savvy customers who prefer digital currencies.

That's according to Emirates Deputy President Adnan Kazim.

He added that the move is in line with Dubai's vision to be at the forefront of financial innovation.

President Donald Trump has intensified his tariff threats this week,

warning 14 countries of higher tariffs starting on August 1st. Trump stated on

truth social that the new deadline will not be extended further and tariffs will go into effect on

that day. Financial markets, however, seem to believe the adage that Trump always chickens out.
