Today, I want to answer a question about fat and metabolism. Will eating fat boost metabolism? I also want to give you a few metabolism tips.
A few things you need to know about fat and metabolism:
• Out of all the types of foods, fat is the lowest on the insulin index.
• Insulin is the hormone that stores fat, and it prevents the body from tapping into fat.
What causes slow metabolism? What affects the metabolism more than anything is the amount of insulin in your body, which also relates to insulin resistance. Insulin resistance causes the body to slow down the metabolism to the point where you can’t lose weight. To boost your metabolism, you need to keep your insulin low.
