Hello there. Happy Thursday. This is Chuck Todd. Another episode of the Chuck Todd cast. Today is an episode for political junkies. My guest is Nathan Gonzalez from inside elections. For you old school folks, that is the old Rothenberg political report.

He's one of my favorites to talk to.

Those of you that have been listening to me for a long time will know and respect him.

He's as good as it gets, as good as my friends over at the Cook Report, who find that

analytic ground without getting caught up in partisan noise, if you will. So it's a political

junkie episode, which means this is a good time for me to do a little bit of updating of things that I've

caught on the campaign trail that I find of interest. But before I get to that, I do think,

before we get to the parlor games of actual elections, I think it is time for the parlor game

of which cabinet secretary is going to leave. I'd say first, but if you

count the national security advisor, Mike Walts, I guess the answer is second, right? He's sort of the

first player to be dismissed or fired or asked to leave or promoted. He is still waiting for a

confirmation hearing to be the ambassador to the UN.

I know.

And if you're going, oh, yeah, I forgot about that guy, you're not alone because this is how

the Trump era, I think, treats the spacetime continuum, right?
