Welcome to Surviving the Survivor.

It is the podcast that brings you trending true crime cases with the best guests in all of true

crime. And today we are back on Donna Adelson because that hearing yesterday was pretty

bonkers, pretty crazy. And I want to get some different perspective. It was an interesting panel last night.

We had Gunner Lynn Blum on with Dave Aaronberg.

So anytime a guy who served hard time and his job was being a mob enforcer with the former Florida State Attorney,

that's always an interesting conversation.

It was enlightening.

And the bottom line here is Donna Adelson had filed two motions, which they argued in court,

one to suppress a phone call and the other having to do with physical ailments and basically begging to be let out of jail.

And ironically, this is a murder for hire plot where she apparently did not want her grandkids living in Tallahassee.

Well, now she is begging Judge Stephen Ever, literally begging to be let out to live in

Tallahassee with an ankle monitor.

So it has come full circle.

Now Donna wants to live in Tallahassee, and the irony is thick.

We do have the best guess in true crime.

One of the other, besides my mother, one of the matriarchs of this show, Joe Petuto, the professor,

Professor Emerita University of Nebraska Law School.

She's taught everywhere and has a lot of legal knowledge in that brain of hers.
