all helping to drive down the poll numbers for the president and his party ahead of the

midterm.

But as we asked today and first week, instead of constantly playing defense on crises

after crises, why isn't the White House trying to go on offense?

When Sundays meet the press, Democratic strategist Cornell Belcher said something that got

us thinking, why aren't Democrats taking the fight to Republicans on issues like gun violence

and abortion?

He suggested calling it the year of the Angry Mom strategy essentially.

So to unpack that idea, my guest today are the one and only Cornell Belcher, president
