Yesterday's 4 p.m. Eastern deadline came and went without an agreement on a long-term deal,

a deal which would have paid the quarterback between $33 and $35 million annually, with $110 million of that guaranteed.

Cowboys reportedly wanted a five-year deal.

Dach wanted four, a bridge too far for Dallas, and now once again,

Dack will have to bet on himself and play this season on the $31.4 million franchise tag.

So, Nick, could 2020 be Dax last season with the Dallas Cowboys?

2020, it's very interesting because yesterday on the show, Jenna, I said I thought if they don't get a deal done and they didn't get a deal done,

2021 would be his final year with the Cowboys.

Franchised this year, franchise next year,

then a true free agent, the whole league gets to bid on him.
