But our top story this morning has to be Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys decision day for Dak.

There's still time the franchise tag deadline, not until 4 p.m. Eastern, but Adam Schaefter

reporting early this morning, the two sides not expected to reach an agreement, which means

Dak Prescott would play this season on the $31.4 million franchise tag.

Nick, we've been discussing this for months now.

We know what playing on that tag would look like for this season,

but what would it mean for Dax's future in Dallas?

Well, Jenna, seven and a half hours from now

when it is reported by Jay Glazer and Schaefter and all the usual suspects that the Cowboys and Dack Prescott officially were unable to reach a contract extension, what it will mean is you can start counting down the days that Dak Prescott has left as a Dallas Cowboy.

If he does not reach a contract extension today, I believe that in 2022, he's playing for a different team.

Not next year. Obviously not this year, and I understand that seems like a far-out prediction,

but the only way to read

the decision flow of DAC and his agent, when they turned down 100 million guaranteed going

into last season, when up to that point in his career, he had only made $2 million total playing

football.
