Thank you for engaging with me tonight. We probably, maybe, may eventually make our way over to

Genesis 37 and then maybe even over to Genesis 45 or maybe not even necessarily in that order,

but that is the general vicinity we're heading towards. So I'm going to begin, I don't know that I've ever done this before

in a Wilderness Society gathering, but I'm going to begin by reviewing the latter part of

last month's Wilderness Society, maybe the last 20% or so.

It was the great C.S. Lewis that said we need to be reminded more than we need to be instructed.

And so I'm going to just dive in a little bit tonight and review a few things that are going

to help, I think, maybe give us a little bit more of a seamless transition into what the father has for us tonight.

So picking up kind of on the back quarter or so of what Yahweh said to us in the last Wilderness Society,

in reference to Jacob being tricked by his father-in-law Laban into marrying Leah, spending seven years serving, believing

he's going to inherit Rachel, ends up inheriting Leah and then makes a decision that he's

willing to go seven more years in order to inherit what he was originally passionate about.

So picking up there, could Leah represent the ministry many of us settled for because of the poverty of our

longing? We under the government of illegitimate fathers climbed into bed with dysfunctional vision.

Leah, whose name means weary, are you weary because you settled for a substitute?

How did Jacob not know on the night of the wedding he was with Leah instead of Rachel?

When you and I are intimate with dysfunctional vision, it actually cost us our perception.

How many of you could even look back over your own journey and find things you were previously

aligned with that maybe it is embarrassing for you to admit that you were previously aligned

with that?

What happens is is when you become intimate with dysfunctional vision, it becomes contagious.
