for Friday, April 25th. President Donald Trump's chief negotiator, Steve Witkoff, met with Russian President Vladimir

Putin today as the U.S. tries to negotiate a Ukraine war deal.

And despite Russia hitting Ukraine with another wave of deadly strikes last night, Trump sounded

optimistic about the talks.

I think we're pretty close. Wittkoff and Putin discussed the possibility of resuming direct negotiations between Ukraine

and Russia, according to a senior Kremlin aide, who said the talks today were, quote,

constructive and very useful.

But European officials said that two diverging versions of a peace deal are at the core of these negotiations,

one supported by the Trump administration, and the other backed by Ukraine and its European

allies.

The FBI has arrested Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hanna Dugan today.

Bureau Director Kash Patel confirmed this in a now deleted post on social media, accusing

her of helping an undocumented migrant avoid arrest.
