with the five things you need to know for Friday, April 25th. President Donald Trump says he is, quote, unlikely to offer another pause to countries

on his sweeping tariffs.

That means countries would have until July to try to make a trade deal with the U.S.

or face tariffs of up to 50 percent.

But the actual timeframe for higher tariffs remains unclear, because

this week Trump has also given other timelines, ranging from two to four weeks.

Aboard Air Force One, Trump told reporters he wouldn't drop tariffs on goods from China,

unless it offers something substantial. And when pressed on what that means, said this.
