Hello everyone and welcome to this episode of The Disclosure Podcast.

It's very nearly Christmas Day, and for many of you watching, that probably means it's

very nearly to the day where you're going to sit around the dinner table with non-vegan family

and watch as they eat turkey and

pigs and other dead animals. And that can be really challenging for us as vegans. And I think

something else that can be really challenging is not just participating in a meal where that's

happening. It's also how it can feel when people speak to us

about veganism or how they treat us when it comes to the food that we're choosing to eat and the

way we're choosing to live. And I think one thing we can feel as vegans is that sometimes our

family act uncharacteristically. We know them very well. We love them. We generally

recognize them as being kind and compassionate and probably empathetic in most situations.

But then when it comes to our veganism, sometimes they can seem argumentative, dismissive,

maybe close-minded, that there's just something that's not sitting
