Truly good to have you along with me on this walk this morning.

For me, it's early morning, just a little before sunrise.

Actually walking along, we have a paved trail alongside a lake that is behind our neighborhood. And fun fact, this lake has

an alligator. We live in South Carolina. We've owned our homes since last fall, and there is a sign

on the lake where the trail begins, just sort of warning you that

because it's South Carolina, alligators are possible. And I had heard that in previous years,

there have been alligators. If they get to a certain size, the city will actually come and remove the alligator.

And so every time I walk along this lake, I've been looking for an alligator.

And last week, last week I saw him.

I got a picture. I got a video.

He's about four and a half feet.

And yes, alligators are dangerous.

We've checked this out. We've done the research.

Alligators are very fast, but they're very fast only for a short amount of time.

And you're safe if you're about 30 40 feet

away that gives you enough time to to get out of the way and anyhow so we're

walking along the lake here and I've already done sort of one pass around and I

have not seen the gator but I'll keep my eye out for him.

So something happened last week for the first time in 2021.
