Take a guy, put him on a speed treadmill, and say, hold your maximum, hold 100% and hold that for 11 seconds. And they're on there trying not to spit off the back of this treadmill. And then you get the girl out and you're like, okay, you're 100%, you have to hold for 12 seconds. And so it's not about the distance, it's about the duration of exertion. You have to hold it for significantly longer. It's as if a girl bench pressing her max has to do more reps than a guy does.

And we're getting the track update because it's track coaching season.

Track season.

I have a junior high track kid, so we're not quite in it.

But I want to hear about the high school track.

It's a coaching that comes, the regular admonishment that you have to get your kids out running against the clock. Run fast. Every spring. Yeah, it's regional's for us starts Friday.

Wow. So the girls are heading to state as the clear favorites, but there's some competition.

You know, you can't take anything for granted.

So we have a pretty clear path.

If we do it, is that we know we can do, there's a clear path for the girls to bring

home their three-peat. Wow.

Their third straight state title. And the guys, it's going to be a dog fight. Yeah.

They're in the mix. They could do it, but it's going to be a dog fight at state. So they could go back to back. The guys could go back to back state titles. Because they won last year, right? Yes. So last year we double-bannered girls and guys. That's awesome. Girls have a, you know, it's a strategy. It's like, don't screw up, do what you know how to do. You'll get it. It's possible. But the thing is, there's such a thing as a flu and injury and people rise up and PR at the end of the year that you just don't anticipate. So we're in a really strong place with the girls, but nothing's for sure ever. And the guys are clearly going to be

in a nice fun dog fight at state on the other side of regionals. We've actually only, the guys have

only won regionals one time that was last year on their way to a state title. So this weekend,
