I remember when I was in college, I think I was the first age group at that point in time

to be transitioning into more advanced smartphones.

I came into college with not quite a smartphone,

but one of those old Dare phones, if you remember them.

And it was cool.

You could do interesting things on it,

the sophomore year, iPhones were coming out, new Android's were coming out. You would now have

an ability to check email on your phone. And I remember that transition from freshman year to sophomore year and then to junior year,

there was an expectation that you would check your email on the go.

In the beginning, it used to be, you know, whenever you were at your computer,

check if you got a message and there was an expectation that, you know,

that could take some time. And I know some of you who are older are laughing. It's like,

back in my day, you had to wait until you got your letter in the mail, snail mail. So, yes,

I am showing my age or youth, if you will. But even in that transition, it went from, yeah, some time we wait for someone

to be at the computer, then check their email, and then maybe they come back to us, and then that
